Dialogue Between the Self and the Vastness<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I place myself between the boundless sea and sky, a tiny marker blended into the backdrop. Devoid of facial features and distinct details, only a silent silhouette stands facing the endlessly rolling tides. In the frame, I am no longer a tangible individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight frames capture seven distinct conversations. There are no climaxes, no twists \u2014 merely the endless ocean and a lone, humble figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not a series about the sea, but about the person standing before it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across eight shots with the same silhouette, I portray seven ways of coexisting with the ocean: enveloped by tides, framed by shorelines, embraced by boundless openness. The figure remains quiet, and the sea never speaks. Yet this silence itself forms a complete dialogue. It is not an exchange of words, but a surrender of the self.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I detach myself from my individual identity, turning into a shared symbol. Faceless and expressionless, with no trace of where I come from, I exist only as a standing form. Viewers may project their own confusion, questions and inner unease onto this figure. The sea neither rejects nor replies; it simply is<\/em>, just like all ultimate truths in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This body of work stems from a simple question: Where should I go?<\/em> The sea offers no verbal answer, yet its very presence gives rise to the question. In this sense, the sea has already responded \u2014 to hold everything within itself is the truest reply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here lies the warmth of a human soul, and the damp breath of the endless sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
